What's the difference between Auto Questions & Custom Questions?

Two types of question are asked through the Motivii Update: Auto Questions and Custom Questions.

Auto Questions are automatically asked every time employees fill out the Motivii Update. The 29 questions are sent out, a couple at a time, and over time build up an engagement score, based on factors including communication, wellbeing, team and relationship with your manager.

Auto Questions are also anonymously benchmarked against all Motivii users globally, to help admin users understand how their company compares to others using the platform.

Managers, senior management and HR can ask custom questions as part of the Motivii Update flow. However, unlike Auto Questions, Custom Questions are self-defined, so can tackle subjects particular to your organisation. They're a brilliant way of getting quick & honest responses to things that are happening at work.

These questions are answered anonymously, but are not benchmarked against engagement scores, unlike Auto Questions.

You're also able to ask Open-text Response Questions from Custom Questions by choosing Text Response Question.

As with all Custom Questions, you can schedule which week you'd like the question to be asked, and how often you'd like it to be repeated.
