What can managers access, and what are they unable to see?

Motivii offers managers a range of information on how their team is doing at work. To protect employees' personal information and receive more truthful responses, some of this data is anonymised.

Managers automatically receive an email update that summarises their direct reports' updates. Employees are identified by name in this view, so managers are able to support and help focus their team members.

The answers to other questions asked in the Motivii Update do not indicate employees they've come from, including the Motivation Score, and the Anonymous Questions which power the Engagement Score.

Instead, data from these features are aggregated to show an average across the team. To protect employees' identities, the score is not shown if a manager has fewer than 3 direct reports.

Direct reports can choose whether they share information from self-created Feedback Surveys or Objectives.
